Noni, from Aceh Basar, works as a translator with NGOs such as Red Cross and Oxfam in Aceh Province. In January 2005, Noni traveled to Indonesia's capital Jakarta to urge world leaders gathered for the first global summit on the tsunami disaster, including British Prime Minister Tony Blair whom she met personally, not to forget the people of Aceh.
